Description

The Applied Conflict Management minor gives students a solid background in the theory and skills of managing conflicts in constructive, not destructive ways. Students learn how to apply skills that are not only useful in a variety of workplace settings, but in everyday life and relationships as well. Applied Conflict Management is an especially useful minor when paired with psychology, criminology and justice studies, communication studies, political science and business majors. However, because the skills taught are life skills, this minor matches up well with many majors.

Admission Requirements

Admission to a minor is open to students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree, the A.A.B. or A.A.S. degree or the A.T.S. degree (not Individualized Program major). Students enrolled only in the A.A. or A.S. degree or the A.T.S. degree in Individualized Program may not declare a minor. Students may not pursue a minor and a major in the same discipline.
