The Master of Arts in Educational Psychology provides advanced study in the psychological aspects of human learning and development. Students acquire a broad, basic knowledge of educational psychology and learning theories. The program is appropriate for classroom teachers, professionals in a variety of settings and students wishing to pursue doctoral-level training in educational psychology.

English Language Proficiency Requirements for International Students: All international students must provide proof of English language proficiency (unless they meet specific exceptions) by earning a minimum 550 TOEFL score (79 on the Internet-based version), minimum 77 MELAB score, minimum 6.5 IELTS score or minimum 58 PTE Academic score. The M.A. degree requires a minimum of 39 credit hours, including 6 hours of thesis credit. This degree must include at least 16 credit hours at the 60000 level or above. The major must consist of 18 or more credit hours in the College of Education, Health, and Human Services. Students have six years from the term of first enrollment to complete the program.
