Add prerequisite to upper-division LAT courses
We previously revised the Classics major, Latin concentration, to include a new course LAT 36172 Advanced Readings in Latin as the "bridge" course to the upper-division offerings. This course has not yet been designated as a prerequisite. We would like to add it as a prerequisite to nine upper-division LAT courses.
For reasons of caution, we are not yet abolishing the two courses which previously fulfilled this "bridge" role. They are still listed as "either/or" prerequisites. We wish to add LAT 36172 to this list.
Classics majors with the Latin concentration and other students progressing through the LAT sequence need to take LAT 36172 prior to taking the 40000-level courses.
For each designated course, change "Prerequisites: LAT 36170 or LAT 36171" to "Prerequisites: LAT 36170, LAT 36171 or LAT 36172"
This change does not affect existing prerequisites of special approval.
