In order to contain spiraling costs, the federal and state governments are focusing on the individual provider conduct in the context of fraud, waste and abuse scrutiny. This course covers the underlying theories behind healthcare law and regulations as well as the specific provisions affection the organization, delivery, and payment of primary health services. Administrators and clinicians will gain a basic understanding of the regulatory environment and provisions impacting their practice.
