Students learn research methods, evaluate precedents and conduct a guided research study investigating specific design goals and parameters in preparation for their individual master's project. They learn to use and apply research and evidence in the healthcare design process. Students use their findings to establish and define design guidelines that help inform their master’s projects.

HCD 62099 MASTER’S PROJECT STUDIO 6 Credit Hours
Focused on an individual student’s defined master’s project topic. Projects will include site selection, site analysis, and demonstrate creative solutions through design. The course concludes in the design of the topic established in Master’s Project Preparation. This is the culminating course for the master’s degree in Healthcare Design. This course will be overseen by the course instructor in collaboration with design practitioners.
